Travelling with children, especially toddlers can be very intimidating .The unpredictable mood, health concerns, carrying around babies, plus the added weight of baby essentials, diapers, baby food etc. discourages a lot of new parents to travel๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ . ๐Ÿ But not us ,we have been quite adventurous as parents!!๐Ÿคฃ Our first road trip as a family to a national park was when our son was barely 3.5 months old. I was a little apprehensive before the trip, on how my son would deal with the change in weather, long travelling hours but he surprised me.His happy cooing and priceless expression of wonder on seeing new surroundings, people put all my worries and doubts about travelling with him so early to rest.Apart from a few cranky episodes due to hunger and sleepiness, it was a very relaxing and memorable first trip as a family.๐Ÿค— . ๐Ÿ That was the start of our mini excursions and weekend getaways with our baby.No doubt, travellling with babies requires extra effort and organising ,things dont go as planned always but it has all been memorable and worthwhile experiences.๐Ÿฅฐ Yes,our toddlers wont remember these trips when they grow up but travel is never wasted on them. Here are my reasons why . . ๐ŸCloser to nature Travelling is a great way to introduce the beauty of nature and its creations to our little ones. They get to breathe fresh air, feel and see closely the trees, plants, birds ,animals ,rivers, which they miss in fast faced city life. . ๐ŸMakes them social While traveling babies get to see and interact with people of different age group which makes them more social and at ease in crowded gatherings. . ๐ŸMore adaptable While travelling kids get out of their usual daily routine and schedules, making them more adaptable at an early age. . ๐ŸStronger family bonds Travelling together as family provides the best bonding experience as your toddler gets your undivided attention which is not possible during the regular working days. . So dont let your travel plans wait.Go out on that trip to mountains ,the beaches or even the exotic foreign lands in your bucket list with your little one๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง.You will cherish these amazing travel memories fondly in years to come!! โค

Parents love their children. What we struggle to do consistently is interact with them in ways that demonstrate our love. So our journey is not to love our children more but to talk to them with greater respect, teach them with more patience, listen to them with more curiosity, touch them with more gentleness, and extend to them greater trust. #consciousparenting #peacefulparenting #gentleparenting #calmparenting #kindparenting #childhood #parentinggoals #parentingquotes #parentingadvice #parentingtips #parentingproblems #momprobs #parentlife #motherlife #parentslove #parenting101 #healingjourney #raisingdaughters #raisingsons #raisingkids #progressoverperfection #learningprocess #attachment #childdevelopment #growinguptogether #workingmomlife #stayathomemommy #stayathomedads #emotionalintelligence #empoweryourself
