How to Quit Stress Eating
Never miss any update from me. Follow @weightlossmotivation66 .
Are you a stress eater? When you’re overwhelmed, do you suddenly do a mental scan of what’s in your snack cabinet or wonder if there’s ice cream in the freezer?
🧠Your mind wanders.. and then DING DING DING.. you suddenly remember your partner brought home cookies yesterday...
You run to the cabinet & scarf a few down. Then you have a few more & before you know it, 1/2 the box (let’s be real, the whole box) of cookies is gone... and you’re sitting alone in a pool of shame and guilt. ⠀
👀You wanted to stop, but you couldn’t. In that moment, nothing else mattered except getting your hands on something to eat to cope.
Does this sound like you!? Does this resonate? Please tell me yes, because this was me for SO LONG 😫
I spoke about it yesterday but you guys, food was the way I coped. With stress, overwhelm, procrastination, loneliness or anything else I wanted to avoid.
🙋🏼♀️If fat loss is your goal (or just maintaining your hard earned physique), eating ABSOLUTELY cannot be your coping mechanism.
If you want long lasting results & to stop sabotaging your fat loss, you need to get a handle on your habits & your response to stress!
Here are some non-food ways to cope with stress. Let me know in the comments what method you use most ♥️
Cheers & Happy Friday !! 🌟
