Keep on keeping on.
15 years ago I dreamt of writing books & screenplays and teaching yoga.
I dreamt of living in the forest and going to festivals and belonging to a community.
Today, that, plus much more, is unfolding.
It’s been fucking hard work, with so many delightful moments along the way.
But no matter how tough it got... no matter how shitty I felt... no matter how many times I failed... I kept getting up & starting again, and again, and again.
I never gave up.
I never sold out.
I paid my dues.
And now here I am, so damn grateful I can pursue my passions & my business in my own way.
Next week, I’m off to Mexico to lead Retreat. Yeah, I’ll be working 12 hour days plus... but it’s always so transformative for me too... I receive as much as I give.
We always do.
Today, at the traffic lights, the dude asking for money with no job or home... he got $10.
Same as most homeless folk I give cash to... ‘God bless’
And I felt his blessing. Drank it in. He was giving me as much, or more, as I was giving him.
That’s my life - I’ve found ways to offer my gifts in a way that supports & nourishes me.
It’s not secure, safe, predicable, stable or lucrative (yet!). But it’s nourishing, rewarding, delightful, joyful and fucking priceless.
Dream those dreams. Set your direction by them. And then set sail.
Do the work, show up, and keep getting up, no matter what.
