🍜 PHO-King phonomenal. Oxtail, tendon, marrow & rare beef pho with fresh rice noodles, zOMG. Noods to the next level, baby!
Not too bad for the instant pot, less deep flavor than stovetop, but so easssy. .
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Broth (Soup setting on an InstantPot): Char onion & ginger (even the skins), add spices (I don't measure - so you can guess by my photo) - star anise, coriander seeds, cardamom, cloves, fennel, cinnamon, black pepper. I used these bones: the bbq shortribs from Fri nite's stories (don't ever waste good bones!), marrow, oxtail, smoked bacon, tendon (this did lend to a very fatty broth, but I skimmed off like a half, lolz), salt, soy, fish sauce. - Condiments: Cilantro, basil, lime, mint, jalapeños, bean sprouts (didn't have the last 3)
- Rare beef, tendon, (wish I had meatballs) - my fav combo! Oh and forgot the leftover rib meat...guess it's steak and eggs 2m! :D
