WHOLE 30 DEETS BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️ also a little #stairgang update lol⁣ ⁣ hi there it is me, sitting on the floor of my kitchen 🤓 still figuring out where i want everything to go at the new apartment so this is here for now 😂⁣ ⁣ i got back in the gym today for the first time since moving to tucson! it was a pretty great workout too! if you watch my stories at all, you know i’ve been trying to achieve one more minute on the stair master every session until i hit 30 minutes, and today i got to 23! it was ROUGH after about a week and a half away from the gym but i pushed through and felt amazing for hitting that time! ⁣ ⁣ so in other news, i’ve also been talking about whole 30 a lot lately and i’m thinking maybe some people are curious about it / maybe interested in trying it for themselves so i thought i would break it down and explain the what/why of my personal choice to join in on #septemberwhole30 ‼️⁣ ⁣ whole 30 is a 30 day elimination diet where you are challenging yourself to give up the most inflammatory foods we typically consume in an effort to deduce what foods don’t agree with your body! during whole 30 you give up ⁣ ⁣ -dairy ⁣ -legumes⁣ -grains⁣ -alcohol ⁣ -sugar & sugar substitutes (erythritol , xylitol, stevia, etc.) ⁣ ⁣ you also challenge yourself to break bad habits and cravings by avoiding any paleo versions of common baked goods and treats even if they are technically whole 30 approved ingredients. ⁣ ⁣ the reason i have decided to be a part of this challenge is because i’ve been having a hard time keeping a balance in my diet since going off keto, and have been experiencing some of the stomach problems & PCOS symptoms (cramping, bloating, pain, etc.) that i used to have pre-keto. although i was tempted to return to keto, because it’s familiar to me and i know it takes away most of that pain, i really want to figure out exactly what food groups i’m sensitive to and whole 30 seems to be the perfect way for me to find out. ⁣ ⁣ if you’re interested in more info on whole 30 or joining me for this september’s whole 30, LET ME KNOW! i’m down for as many friends as possible to join and support each other in this experience!
