💛Ohh I love this saying, and here is why: because it motivates you to just go and do things. Not sure about them? You will figure it out along the way, and that is fine! In fact, anything is better than giving in to inertia and staying still.
The trick here is not to allow yourself to use this mantra as an excuse and settle for bad quality just because that would already be enough… no! The point is not to get caught in our perfectionism and allow yourself to learn along the away.
I understand that leaving perfectionism aside can be hard. We feel judged all the time and delivering something that is less than ideal usually feels like a recipe for being judged by others. And what I tell myself when that happens is that nobody is perfect, no one is born with the knowledge of anything and we all have to go through the process of learning if we want to actually know something new.
Trust me: there is no shame in trying something different. A shame would be not doing something you want because of the fear of being judged by others.
