I am become lift, destroyer of weights. SBD day up to openers on each (did each twice rather than once cuz Iā€™m #addicted to volume). Everything flew. Only hiccup was what was supposed to be second attempt on deadlift. This also flew, but I misloaded the bar and it was 507 instead of 517. Still. P2W1D4: Paused Squat: 345lb 1x1 @ RPE: 6.5 Lowbar Squat: 315lb 1x5 @ RPE: 7 300lb 2x5 @ -6% Paused Spoto Press: 215lb 2x4 @ RPE: 6 TNG Bench: 200lb 3x8 @ RPE: 6.5ish Sumo Deadlifts: 405lb 1x6 @ RPE: 6.5 380lb 2x6 @ -6% I've been prepping for about a month to start cutting. Been tracking macros to get in the habit and I think I'm finally ready to take the hit. It's going to be pretty difficult with all the good free food, but I've been able to cut before using only chick-fil-a Lol As for training, day 4 is really challenging. Volume everywhere. I worked on the bar tilt and may have over compensated on squat. I haven't done this much deadlift volume in a while and the hips are fried. I'm sure I'll get used to it by next week. Powerbuilding week 7. ā€”ā€”ā€” Thurs- Sept 19- deadlifts - 3 of 3 x 8- 97.95 kg/ 215.5 lbs. +deficit deadlifts- 3 of 3 x 10 - 50.45 kg/ 111 lbs. ā€” > Working on building speed off the ground. These moved better than last week, but meh... over doing sets of 8. Deficits are way lighter than main set, soo extra easy peasy for meow. ā€”ā€” Tues- bench- 1 + 2 of 3 x 5- 48.95 kg/ 107.7 lbs. ā€”> @smoldoglifting šŸ˜‚ trips, plays it off, and booty thot poses? TY for the lift offs/ spot + @lilbeefybeefy. I was suppose to bench 110 lbs, but kilo math is hard, missed a kg... whoops.
