Why do you exercise? Is it because you hate your body or because you love it and want to appreciate it and how it moves?
I personally had a time when I just exercised because I wanted to look a certain way. Now I'm maybe still not a hundred percent confident in my body but I managed to actually enjoy movement.
To be honest: yes, I want to look fit but I also want to be healthy. That's why I decided to change my relationship to exercise.
Moving my body clears my mind and gives me more energy. I'm happier and I have fun doing it. I'm not totally obsessed with it anymore and I feel better than I ever have before!
Be greatful for your body and what it allows you to do and don't hate it. Enjoy the progress of getting stronger and don't give up!
